This conference, part of an ongoing series by the Union for the Mediterranean (UfM), aims to support water security in the Mediterranean and Africa by fostering discussions on water finance and investment strategies. *Key Objectives: * - Seek strategic guidance for WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) finance and investment. - Identify impactful WASH investment opportunities. - Explore internal resource generation while maintaining affordability. - Discuss the role of public finance and private sector engagement in WASH. - Ensure the financial sustainability of WASH services through stakeholder collaboration. *Expected Outcome: * A Policy Brief will be published, summarizing the conference’s conclusions and recommendations, contributing to the development of the UfM Recommendations on Water Finance for endorsement at the next UfM Ministerial Meeting on Water.
