The objective of this session is to enhance common understanding by sharing knowledge and exploring the opportunities and challenges of the latest technological innovations in Desalination for Agricultural Development (DAD), addressing their potential to enhance water efficiency and crop yields. It will examine the ecological impacts of desalination on soil and ecosystems, presenting actions for mitigating negative effects. Through technical presentations, participants will gain insights into sustainable good agricultural practices and successful case studies to promote the responsible integration of desalinated water in agriculture development.
