Connections: From Observations to Resilience-Recent Advances

The session aims to explore the innovative approaches including practical applications in hydrological sciences that aim to improve water resources management. The session bring together experts, researchers working on state-of-the-art remote sensing application, hydrological modeling and evidence based water resources management strategies to present. The session will bring together renowned international experts, researchers, from (1) the International Center for Integrated Water Resources Management at the US Army Corps of Engineers (ICIWaRM), at the US Army Corps of Engineers, (2) the International Center for Water Hazard and Risk Management (ICHARM), in Japan, (3) the Center for Hydrometeorology and Remote Sensing at the University of California, Irvine (CHRS), at the University of California, Irvine, and (4) the Global Hydrology and Water Resources Group at the University of Viginia in the USA to discuss state-of-the-art remote sensing application, hydrological modelling and evidence-based water resources management strategies.
