One Water Project - Final Wrap-Up Meeting - Towards a Unified Strategic Vision for Water Security in the Mediterranean

This high-level event is part of the “ONE WATER” initiative – For fair, efficient and sustainable water management in the Mediterranean region. The initiative fosters regional cooperation between MENA and Balkan countries by promoting a multi-stakeholder approach to sustainable water resources management. As the concluding milestone in a multi-stakeholder engagement process, the meeting aims to synthesize insights gathered in a series of sub-regional meetings and formulate a shared strategic vision for water sustainability. It will highlight successful practices, ongoing challenges, and regional priorities identified by participating countries and actors, and contribute to shaping the agenda of the Euro-Mediterranean Water Forum 2026. By convening institutional representatives, technical experts, and stakeholders from diverse sectors and subregions, this event serves as a platform for inclusive dialogue and collaborative reflection. Its ultimate goal is to advance policy alignment, operational coordination, and a unified commitment to addressing the most pressing water-related challenges through cooperation, innovation, and integrated governance.
