Scaling Up the WEFE Nexus: Regional Dialogue and Institutional Pathways

This session aims to promote the integration of the WEFE Nexus approach into national strategies, particularly in Jordan and Egypt, and foster broader regional cooperation. Key highlights include presentations on Jordan’s successful institutionalization of the Nexus and a proposal for establishing a similar unit in Egypt. The session will also feature a panel discussion bringing together policymakers, experts, and regional stakeholders to exchange best practices and explore collaborative opportunities. Attendees will gain insights into the development of the WEFE Nexus Hub, tools for sustainable resource management, and how to join the growing WEFE Community across the region.
